League position and verified status
The Italian Hockey League (IHL) is a national senior championship administered by FISG below the IHL Serie A/AHL route. Evaluate it as its own market with club-specific sporting and financial conditions.
Confirmed 2026/27 framework
FISG lists 12 teams. The first phase starts on 19 September 2026; teams then split into Master and Qualification rounds, followed by an eight-team playoff.
Roster and foreign-player rules
IHL permits a maximum of three Category B players. Only Category A players may be used as goaltenders. FISG and the club must confirm the player’s classification before registration.
Clubs and choosing a target
Target clubs by position, role, roster construction, coach need, budget and an authorised contact. A listed team does not prove a vacancy or acceptable contract conditions.

Clubs compare pace, reliability, role, special teams, verified statistics, full-game video, health, contract status, citizenship and readiness for FISG registration.
Recruitment timing and tryouts
The published IHL transfer and registration deadline is 11 January 2027. A trial is not a contract; confirm dates, criteria, travel, insurance, housing, equipment, expenses and decision timing.
Contract, pay and housing
There is no official universal salary table for all IHL clubs. Put gross or net pay, taxes, payment dates, housing, deposit, utilities, meals, travel, equipment, insurance, injury protection and termination in writing.
Residence and right to work
A club invitation or FISG registration does not grant entry, residence or work permission. Requirements depend on citizenship and contract status and must be confirmed with Italian authorities.
IIHF transfer, licence and insurance
An international move requires the applicable IIHF transfer process plus FISG registration and competition eligibility. Transfer approval does not replace insurance, immigration permission or a valid contract.

Send passport and second citizenship; birth year, position, shot, height and weight; current team; verified statistics; Elite Prospects or federation profile; highlights, a recent full game and contract status.
