League position and verified status
The win2day ICE Hockey League is a multinational top-level professional competition. For 2026/27 the official league lists 14 clubs based in Austria, Italy, Slovenia and Hungary.
The club list and schedule are official league data; a listed team is not evidence of an open roster position.
2026/27 competition framework
The regular season starts on 18 September 2026. Each of the 14 teams is scheduled for 52 games, producing 364 regular-season games. Playoff rules, tie-breaks and any later amendments must be checked in the current league Game Mode and Gamebook.
Clubs and choosing a target
Target a club by position, role, lineup need, import history, budget, city and authorised sporting contact. The 2026/27 field includes clubs across four national jurisdictions, so sporting fit and administration must be assessed together.
What clubs assess
ICEHL clubs expect proven professional pace, fast decisions, reliable play without the puck, special-teams value, recent full-game evidence, verified statistics, health, contract status and readiness for a defined role.
Roster and foreign-player checks
Do not rely on a universal import number. The club must confirm the current league roster rules, nationality or licence status, registration history and match-day eligibility for the exact player and date.
Recruitment timing and tryouts
Most roster building happens before the season, while injuries and role changes can create later needs. Confirm the inviting decision-maker, dates, evaluation criteria, expenses, insurance, housing and deadline. A trial is not a contract.
Contract, pay and housing
No official universal salary table applies across all 14 clubs. Put gross or net pay, taxes, bonuses, payment dates, housing, deposit, utilities, meals, travel, equipment, insurance, injury protection, termination and return travel in writing.
Residence and right to work
ICEHL clubs are based in four countries. Entry, residence and employment therefore depend on the host country, citizenship and contract. A club offer or league registration does not itself grant permission to enter, live or work.
IIHF transfer, registration and insurance
A move between national associations follows current IIHF transfer rules. The international transfer does not replace the host federation’s registration, league eligibility, insurance, immigration permission or a valid club contract.
Player application package
Send passport and any second citizenship; birth year, position, shot, height and weight; current club; verified statistics; Elite Prospects or federation profile; role-based highlights and a recent full game; contract or release status, health and exact availability.
